As you all may know there was a sale on a River Island a little while back and here's what I got:

Coca Cola Vanilla Lip Smacker

I was in Primark the other day to purchase some new panties, once at the checkout i noticed a bowl full of canned drinks style lip balms. I was in there 3/4 weeks previous so id already pointed it out to my partners mum who said she brought one for her young son. So I picked one up for the novelty factor and the fact they put the random bits out at the tills for people like me, who spend way more than they first anticipated. 

I paid £1.50 for this and I literally haven't put it down. It smells like cola bottle sweets which i personally love the smell of. I had dry lips when I first brought this and now they are lovely and smooth especially as I havent exfoliated my lips for a while.(not just a novelty it also works!) There's other flavours too including: Sprite, Coca Cola vanilla,cherry, Orignal, Fanta orange, pineapple and Strawberry and Dr Pepper.


Will you be picking some up? Do you already have them and what do you think? Or which flavours do you want/like best?

A little Haul from America

Some family went away to U.S.A recently and when I asked them  to bring me back some stuff we cant get in the uk they agreed. I've been excited ever since and I got my items yesterday.

Sorry they were the right way up uploading them is making it turn

1. Loreal voluminous Million Lashes - I think you can get this is the U.K but im not sure its the same formula ,as the names are different but I could be wrong! I was after the Loreal voluminous that they discontinued in the U.K, but i don't mind i haven't tried this before. Here's what my lashes look liked after application.

2. Next, I got Sally Hansen Salon effect nail polish strips, these arent available in the U.K yet but apparently we should expect to see them in September. I got the colourway Laced Up, it comes with a mini file/buffer and a cuticle stick.

3. Next I got Wet N wild palette in 335 Silent Treatment 

Really lovely highly pigmented colours wish we got more a selection of wet and wild in the U.K

4.Essie Sand Tropez - really lovely beige colour

Mini shop at House of Fraser beauty department

Today i seeked a couple of items of my wishlist!


I went to the Clinque counter and picked up clarifying lotion 3, the lady at the counter asked me if id ever tried the 3 step skincare range (which i haven't) so she gave me two generous sized (30ml) samples of cleanser and moisturiser

This 3 step skincare range is aimed at my combination to oily skin


1. Free sample of liquid facial soap in oily skin formula
2.Clarifying lotion 3 in combination oily - £15 for 200ml
3. Free sample of Dramatically different moisturising gel


Then I headed over to the trusty MAC counter, whilst searching online I noticed they had re-released the lipstick Ever Hip - £13.50 

I realise this is a shoddy Iphone picture but i'll do a review on it very soon!

Glossybox no 2 June

Hello everyone,


I got my Glossybox super late as there's been a mix up in my account which hopefully will be rectified so I can get a July box, but I've been told it might not be possible. So anyway this month everyone got different products in their boxes. Some people have been really angry about this month and there has been a huge PR disaster on Twitter over the company. I was semi happy with my box and this is what I got.

1. Margaret Dabbs hydrating foot soak - Full sized and worth £20 
2. Baptise dry shampoo original - I will use mine but as discussed over Twitter and Facebook not a high end brand
3. Opi nail polish - Small bottle but im really loving the colour see here-  
4. Bioeffect BGF serum - worth around £30 odd pounds came with a £30 off voucher on full sized which is around £100 
5. Lalique - Perles De Lalique - really not the scent for me 

Im happy spending £10 for this box, I do still feel its been worth it especially as there's £60 worth of product in two items, which I like! I will still order Glossybox for now but i'm excited to see if i've made it to get a first Boudior Prive box

I'm in complete love with this colour! Since i've purchased it I've worn in either on my fingers or toes every time i change my nails. I read in a magazine recently that metallic shades are going to be huge for A/W 2011.This ones a keeper for me!


Clinique clarifying lotion 2

  

This sounds like a bit too much information, but just as you think your face is really clean this will wipe off even more dirt, this is on my beauty wants list (which if your interested in ill post it up). My partners mum said I could use hers to test it, so this has been added to my long list of wants!
