July Glossybox

What a treat we were given this month! Most of the products were full sized, though we did have a little paragraph telling us to remember they are sample company and we shouldnt expect this all the time. I have been very appreciative of all the boxes ive received. The theme to this month was 'ready, set, glow!'

Firstly I got Ciate in Big Yellow taxi worth £9

I must admit when I opened the box and saw yellow polish I was a bit shocked but I'm going to try a pedi with it.

Next i got Weleda pomegranate body oil worth £19.95

I've been using this in place of moisturiser and im in complete love!

Then I got Inlight organic face oil worth £25.00

Also in love with this, Even though its an oil it wont break you out.

I then got Illamasqua pure pigment in Tingle worth £15.50

Haven't tried this yet but i'm excited about this as i've never tried any Illamasqua.

Then i got a Xen Tan 30ml sample in Dark

Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe 236ml

All in all a fantastic little lot....What do you think? Do you get Glossybox? Do you want to get Glossybox? What do you think of this months?

Do let me know

Magazine Freebies and Ciate

Free with Cosmopolitan magazine this month you get a free Missguided Nail polish worth £5. I got the colour across the top which I haven't tried out yet.

Free with Marie Claire this month you get a free Ciate lipgloss worth £9. You get to choose from Hot Pink Ibiza or Nude St Barts. I picked up Nude St Barts and I think it will be the perfect combo with some of my nude lipsticks.

I've officially jumped on the Ciate Bandwagon when I saw this code for £10 off  CTMC10 for ciate.co.uk, so you can get a nail vanish for free and then pay the £4.95 shipping fee but i went on to buy more and got my shipping free.

firstly got Cookies and Cream

I think this colour is just right up my street. I love neutrals like this and hopefully I can get away with such colours when I start working. I love the signature bows on the nail polishes of this brand. I'm a bit of a sucker for packaging and I think this is very cute!

Whist on the Ciate website I saw a gift set deal of £100 worth of product for £40, when i used my code i spent £39 including postage for the gift set and the nail vanish. A bargain hopefully!

This is the gift set:

Which comes with

  • White Chocolate Nail Polish Remover - They had me sold at white chocolate! costs £14 alone cute bottle that will look lovely on a vanity.
  • Miss Rich Nail Growth Promoting Balm -  costs £16 alone would look fabulous on a vanity!
  • Love Me Oil - Cost £11 by itself, smells like cranberry, for dry cuticle and prevents hang nails
  • Underwear - Base Coat cost £11 alone
  •  Polish Grip - another base coat that acts like a primer to lock in colour and prevent chipping again costs £11
  • Speed Coat - Fast Drying Top Coat cost £11 by itself, im running out of my trusty Jessica speed dry oil so hopefully this is a good contender.
  • The Glossip - £9 fabulous coral colour, think i'm becoming addicted to coral
  •  Cupcake Queen - £9 an iridescent hot pink
  •  Sugared Almonds - £9 a pastel peach colours

Here's hoping Ciate is well worth every penny and cant wait to finally try out their nail range!

My new fitness love!

Me and the boy went shopping recently and we picked up Kinect for Xbox 360. I'm in absolute love! In my opinion its better then my Wii which I will be selling at some point, with the money i get I might buy my little one a DS or something. I feel kind of bad as Wii has good games for kids, but we wont be using it now we have kinect. Wii is aimed more toward kiddies from 3 years old whereas Kinect isn't exactly aimed at kids at all.

Anyway my new fitness love is ZUMBA

Everyone knows that Zumba is the 'in' fitness thing and I know exactly why, Its more like having fun than working out! You can burn a mega amount of calories in which seems like a very short time. Although i'm  bummed I have to work the calories burned in a 'Zumba class' out by myself.

So in all honestly I find myself a bit of a good mover after downloading the demo I did a couple of runs on that, then brought the game outright.I went straight on to a 45 min workout class intermediate. The game does not tell you what move is next your thrown straight into the deep end. However if you went to a Zumba class that exactly what happens, so I've heard. When dancing you get a person who looks a bit digitalized like this.

The person goes green when you hitting all the right movements, yellow when your doing some of it and red when you totally off key. It also highlights the areas your not doing right in a circle, so then you can rectify yourself. The bar down the middle goes up as you hit the moves right and then brings you up stages, which get you better points.

In all honesty this game is fairly new to me and i'm navigating my way through it at them moment so im not 100% on everything. Navigation is 'fumpy' there must be another way of making this easier, and im sure they will rectify this in the next game.

I read on one review on Amazon that one lady dropped a jean size in a week and after 6 weeks her body is completely different. YES PLEASE!! This game is all wiggling your hips, moving your legs, waving your arms and shaking what your mama gave ya! Change your clothes into work out clothes when you do this as you get very very very sweaty!

All in all im in love!

Coca Cola Vanilla Lip Smacker

I was in Primark the other day to purchase some new panties, once at the checkout i noticed a bowl full of canned drinks style lip balms. I was in there 3/4 weeks previous so id already pointed it out to my partners mum who said she brought one for her young son. So I picked one up for the novelty factor and the fact they put the random bits out at the tills for people like me, who spend way more than they first anticipated.

I paid £1.50 for this and I literally haven't put it down. It smells like cola bottle sweets which i personally love the smell of. I had dry lips when I first brought this and now they are lovely and smooth especially as I havent exfoliated my lips for a while.(not just a novelty it also works!) There's other flavours too including: Sprite, Coca Cola vanilla, cherry, Orignal, Fanta orange, pineapple and Strawberry and Dr Pepper.

Will you be picking some up? Do you already have them and what do you think? Or which flavours do you want/like best?

Im quite partial to trying them all out
